His son, Salvador Santana, fell in love with the guitar through his dad’s influence. Although his parents’ separation knocked the wind out of his sails, he remained passionate about playing the guitar and singing. The father-son duo is known for performing soulfully together. Back in 2008, they would play compilation songs to an audience for Father’s day. They released a CD with the name A Song for My Father, which was very well received by critics and fans alike. It’s amazing how many wonderful tunes this creative and talented father and son can create.
